We desire that our kids would grow to love & follow Jesus for the whole of their lives.

At Gateway Kids, we want our Sunday kids gatherings to be a space where children learn God’s Word, grow in their understanding of Jesus, and experience the Holy Spirit — all in ways that are age appropriate and meaningful.

We see parents and caregivers as the primary disciplers of their children, and we’re here to support that journey. That’s why our kids gatherings are more than just childcare — they’re a partnership in discipleship.

SUNDAYS:

Morning 10am Gathering:
Our kids stay in for part of our musical worship before going out to our supervised programmes for toddlers through to intermediates. These sessions include things like a bible story, games & activites, free play, small group time and praying together.

The Nursery is open for parents with babies or crawlers who need a quiet space. There is a live feed from the service so parents can keep in touch with the Gathering.

Evening 5:30pm Gathering:
Although our kids’ programs aren’t running in the evening, the Nursery is open for parents with babies, crawlers or toddlers who need a quiet space.

DROP OFF & CHECK IN

WHILE WE ARE AT HAMILTON GIRLS HIGH SCHOOL OUR REGULAR PROCESSES LOOK DIFFERENT. THE SPACES ARE SMALLER AND WE WILL BE RUNNING PARED BACK PROGRAMMES BECAUSE OF THIS.
Note: Due to auditorium capacity, Kids are in their kids areas for the whole of the service while we are at HGHS, with the exception of December 21st.

Check-in at the Kids Check In Desk from 9:30am.
Kids spaces are open from 9.45am and if you have multiple children who are in different rooms you will need to take them to each room yourself.
- Preschoolers (Kingdom): Room 1 for Toddlers (room off the auditorium foyer) & Room 2 (down the stairs before you enter the foyer) for Juniors - those aged 3.5 to 5 years old.
- Primary (Tribe) & Intermediates (Emerge): Will be in Rooms 3 & 4 down the stairs before you enter the auditorium foyer.
- Nursery: Is located in the foyer, it is a simple space. If your child is crawling & near to walking you can take them into the Tots (toddler) room but you will need to stay with them.
Pick-up your kids after the gathering (Intermediate included) using the parent tag from check-in. See a volunteer on the door to check your child out.
