No Wednesday Morning Prayer this week! | Wednesday 23rd of April

In the heart of Hamilton, we’re a community of students and young adults (18–30) learning to live the way of Jesus together.

Gateway Young Adults exists to connect a generation into the life of the local church. We gather to grow in faith, build deep friendships, and walk in apprenticeship to Jesus—learning His way through scripture, worship, prayer, and life together.

HOW WE CONNECT

Connection Hour

Every Sunday after our evening gathering you can find us in The Commons with a hot choc. It's a great chance to connect in a casual setting and get to know some other young adults.

Connect Groups

Our connect groups meet throughout the week, in homes all over the city. It's about growing in faith and building deep friendships as we grow as disciples of Jesus.

Planned Events

We love gathering as a community throughout the year. Keep an eye out for upcoming events bellow or on our socials — we’d love to see you there!

EVENTS

Prayer Run Club

Every Monday Night - 6pm
Gateway Church — 490 Grey Street

Every Monday night our Young Adults gather in the church carpark for Prayer Run Club. We start as a group, hear a prayer focus, and then break into small groups to pray through a liturgical prayer card and the weekly prayer point. After a casual warm-up we head out for a manageable 5km run at a pace everyone can enjoy.

Flick us an email, ask a young adult, or simply turn up at 6pm and join us!

No need to register, just come along!

In The Chapel

Tuesday 1st September
7pm - 8pm

Sylvia Dalton is the Prayer ministry lead here at Gateway. If you are a Young Adult - come along an enjoy an evening of hearing Sylvia's story, learning about our prayer ministry, listening to testimonies from some of the prayer team and hearing how you can get involved.

This will be held in The Chapel.

GREAT READS

Check out what we're reading, studying, mulling over as a community.
If you'd like to get your hands on a copy chat to one of your leaders.

Emotionally Healthy Discipleship

Faith isn’t just about doing more stuff for God it’s about being real, slowing down, and letting Jesus heal the parts we usually hide. This book hits different.

God on
Mute

When prayer feels like it’s going nowhere, this book is a lifeline. Raw, relatable, and still full of hope it’s proof you’re not the only one asking hard questions.

Reappearing
Church

If you’ve ever wondered if revival could happen in our time this book says yes. It’s about God bringing life back to dry bones, and us being part of it.
