950 Victoria Street has sold!
Dear Gateway Church Family,
We’re excited to share that our building at 950 Victoria Street has been unconditionally sold to McDonald’s Restaurants (New Zealand) Limited. Although settlement is scheduled for August, McDonald’s has generously allowed us to continue using the building until the end of November 2025. This is an incredible blessing for our community.
With this milestone reached, we can now move forward with making arrangements to commence the fit out of 490 Grey Street in August and plan what the next six months will look like for our family.
Our final Gatherings in the current building will be our Thanksgiving celebration on November 23rd. This will be followed by a Farewell on the 30th of November, which will be a chance for you to have one final walk-through of the building.
We won’t be in our new home until February 2026. So from Sunday the 7th of December 2025, we’ll temporarily be meeting at Hamilton Girls’ High School. More details about this transition will be shared closer to the time.
