Urban

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me. - Jesus.

We want to follow Jesus’ teaching by feeding the poor, serving those less fortunate than ourselves, and pursuing justice for the oppressed.

Gateway has many people throughout the community bringing change to those around them. A lot of what is done is unseen, it’s done in secret, it’s done with no recognition or reward, it is done because Jesus wants it done.

We believe that through serving people can be made whole, people can change, people can be transformed, hope can be restored.

Te tangata te tangata te tangata. (It is people, it is people, it is people)
