Facebook Pursue – Young Adults
Pursue exists to challenge young adults to pursue authentic relationships with God, with each other, and with their community.
Pursue’s main purpose is to connect Gateway’s young adults in the following three ways:
With God - We want to see our young adults actively engaging with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and discovering their place in the kingdom.
With each other - We believe that community is the Jesus model of spiritual growth, and therefore we seek to join our hearts together to discover God and to sharpen each other.
With their community - We believe that a desire to serve others is the overflow of a love for our creator, and so we actively encourage, and provide opportunity for, our young adults to get involved in serving their communities, wherever they may find themselves.
We consider a young adult to be anyone between the ages of 18 and 30, and we aim to provide connect groups that meet the varying needs of this diverse age group.
We run connect groups weekly all over the city, and every 4th Wednesday night we meet together on the Third Floor at Gateway for teaching, food, and time to get to know the rest of our young adults community.
