Connect Groups

Connect groups are a place for connection with a smaller number of people. Gateway has a number of different connect groups with a variety of focuses. If you would like more information on any of these groups please contact Andy

Young Couples:
Jennie and Casey run a group for young couples who are recently married or soon to be. They meet Tuesdays at 7.30pm.

Korean Bible Fellowship:
Abraham and Deborah run this group that meets every week, Friday 7.30pm. This is a Bible Study group which will review Sunday’s sermons. We will encourage, challenge and strengthen one another as we continue to grow in our faith as immigrant people. Some significant theological and biblical terms will be discussed and reviewed, and a monthly potluck will be enjoyed! Please note that only Korean will be spoken.

Ladies Bible study:
Vera runs a group for women with a focus on sharing from the Bible, praying for each other and building relationships and faith. They meet fortnightly on a Wednesday at 10am.

There is usually a shared cupper with an Indian flavour. This group meets the second Friday of every month at 7pm.

Mums Matter:mums matter
Julie and Jane run this group for Mothers of young children. They meet for a coffee, a time of sharing and building relationships with each other. We provide an environment where issues & challenges arising from moving can be shared along with resources and possibly some practical help. It doesn’t matter what ‘your story’ is, or your life’s philosophy. If you have moved to a new home, and want to ‘connect’, you are very welcome! Wednesdays 7.30pm Nth city.

Create:
Do you have a desire to move the hearts and minds of others through creative means? It’s easy to isolate yourself in your creative endeavors. This group seeks to connect like-minded people to allow for spiritual growth andmaturity. I believe art in any form can be a way to help others, challenge them and allowing them to question the world leading them closer to God.
If you have a similar passion, join me, first meeting will be Thursday, 18th March, 7.30, upstairs in the Gate.
