Pastor John Bridge from Faith Outreach India, where Daniel and Ana Wilkinson-Gee from Gateway are now serving, will be in NZ for a short visit. Faith Outreach has a large Children’s home, School and supports Refugees from the area amongst many other things! Check out www.faithoutreach-orissa.com. John, from the UK, has been a Missionary in Orissa for over 30 years, is a dynamic speaker and will be sharing at Gateway on Monday 22nd March 7.30pm in the Bethel Room, first floor.

A refugee family from Columbia arrives in Hamilton on the 25th of February to start a new life. They bring with them what they can carry in a suitcase. CRAVE 2010 KICK OFF

CRAVE kicks off on Friday the 5th of Feb!!!!!!!

We’ll be heading just out of town to River Rd for a BBQ and there’ll be a waterslide, biscuiting, volleyball etc.
Meet at the church carpark at 5.30 pm - parents pick up again from church at 10 pm, (leaders can drop you home if you organise this with them prior to the event). You’ll need to bring $2 your togs/wetsuit, towels, warm clothes.

As you probably know, a 7.3 magnitude quake rocked Haiti on Tuesday January 12th, causing widespread devastation in the capital, Port-au-Prince, and throughout the country, impacting an estimated three million people.

We want to respond by getting in behind the relief effort, so this Sunday we’re taking up a special offering to help relieve the suffering and bring hope to those effected by this tragedy.

CRAVE MEET AND GREET - VENUE CHANGED

Due to a horrible looking weather forecast for tomorrow night, the Crave ‘Meet and Greet’ will now be held at the Salvation Army gym and cafe (on the corner of London and Harwood St).

This is a get together for the Crave crew and their parents/caregivers and the Years 8’s (+ parents/caregivers) who will be joining us next year.

Come along for some games, a hang out and some dessert (parents are welcome to bring younger children and we will provide games and support to accommodate this).
